🧍 Meet Jim – Founder & Fractional Project Manager

Jim Edgar founded Methodology Man Ltd because he was tired of watching brilliant subject matter experts get set up to fail. Just because someone knows the technical detail doesn’t mean they should run the project—and too often, they end up stuck in the weeds, constantly tweaking, refining, and restarting while delivery stalls.

Jim’s been brought in after months of wheel-spinning more times than he can count.

He doesn’t out-expert the experts—he frees them up.
He holds the bigger picture, keeps things moving, and knows when to say:

  “We’ve met the spec. Let’s get it delivered.”

His job is to get the result—not just admire the plan.
Because progress beats perfection every time.

And he’s passing that mindset on.

Jim’s actively helping a new generation of project professionals learn what it really takes to deliver: how to handle it when things temporarily go wrong, how to reset without blame, and how to keep moving forward with confidence and clarity.
